What Is Silver Clay?

Silver clay is a soft, mouldable material made from tiny recycled silver particles mixed with water and a natural binder. It feels almost like pottery clay, which means you can roll it, shape it, imprint textures and mould any design you love. Once your piece is dry, it’s gently fired. The binder burns away and the silver particles fuse together, transforming your creation into pure fine silver jewellery.

We choose to use silver clay because it’s safe, beginner-friendly, wonderfully creative, and allows people of all ages and skill levels to make beautiful, meaningful keepsakes in just one session. It’s an accessible, sustainable and magical way to turn simple moments and textures into real silver treasures.
